Baisakhi Celebration

The school celebrated the auspicious occasion of Baisakhi with great fervor and enthusiasm. The festival, marking the Birth of the Khalsa or Khalsa Saajna Diwas, was commemorated with various activities.

Middle and Senior Segment : Kirtan Darbar and Slideshow
The middle segment students organized a Kirtan Darbar where they presented soulful renditions of Gurbani. Additionally, a Slideshow was presented, highlighting the Sikh Code Of Conduct, significance of Baisakhi and the history of the Khalsa.

Primary Segment:
•Slide Show on Historical & Religious Significance of Baisakhi.
•Colouring of Khanda
This joyous occasion brought smiles to the faces of the young learners, introducing them to the rich cultural heritage of Sikhism. kadah Prasad and Sweets were distributed among the students.

Sports Day Activity

On Monday, 14th April 2025, our school organized the Sports Day Activity for the students of Classes 1 to 5. The event took place in the school premises and was filled with excitement, energy, and cheer.

As part of the Primary Games Activity:
– Classes I- III participated in the Spoon and Lemon Race, which tested their balance and coordination in a fun and engaging way.

– Classes IV &V took part in the Cone Race, an event that challenged their agility and speed.

The Sports Day activity was a great success, creating joyful memories for the students and promoting physical fitness and healthy competition.

Co-Curricular Activities offer numerous benefits, including enhanced academic performance, the development of essential life skills, personal growth, and social development. GHPS, Kalkaji provides its younglings with the exposure to such activities which foster leadership, teamwork, and communication skills, while providing opportunities for self-discovery and learning. Activities like making a Family Tree and making wheat grains by thumb painting to celebrate and spread awareness about the significance of Baisakhi- The Harvest Festival.
